As an all-volunteer org, we truly depend on kind people like YOU to help us make Lighthouse a magical and healing place for both animals and humans. We have over 250 animals to care for and we could really use your help. Tell your friends! Bring your family!

A typical volunteer day includes cleaning out the barns, scrubbing and refilling water tubs, special projects, and the very best part- snuggles! One of the most important parts of being a volunteer at Lighthouse is to show our rescued friends that humans are kind. Brush some horses, scratch some pig bellies, lay in the sun with a moo. Sounds pretty sweet, right?

Fine print:
+ Work parties are every 1st and 3rd Saturday
+ Volunteer parties start at 10 am. Please plan on being here on time.
+ We are a vegan organization. To respect our residents we ask that no non-vegan food (eggs, dairy, meat) are brought onto the property.
+ Although we love dogs, we do not allow them at the sanctuary. Please leave your furry friends at home when visiting.
+ Remember to wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes, and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. We provide gloves but you are welcome to bring yo
