As part of the PDX VEG CHALLENGE, come meet and get to know some rescued farmed animals! Located on 98 acres in Newberg Oregon, Wildwood Farm Sanctuary (https://wildwoodfarmsanctuary.org) is a haven for farmed animals and wildlife alike. They provide life-long refuge and rehabilitation for abused and abandoned farmed animals. Their mission is to help open eyes and reshape the way humans view and treat farmed animals by considering a compassionate and cruelty-free way of living. Shauna Sherick, Wildwood’s founder and president, has graciously offered to open up the sanctuary for an open house to meet the animal residents and hear how the sanctuary is working to change the lives of farmed animals.
