Blog Report: My Life with Flyball Dogs

Looking for a little variety, a little spice in your blog reading?  Look no further than My Life with Flyball Dogs (mylifewithflyballdogs.blogspot.com).  From cats to dogs to sports to menu planning, author Crystal keeps the flavors a changin’!  Her true love, as the title tells it, is flyball.  But she and her catchy canines, Koira and Pallo, have recently started to venture into the world of competitive obedience as well.  In fact, you just might catch them at one of the upcoming dog shows very soon.

Like most true Pacific Northwesters they enjoy the great outdoors, and that includes the glorious white stuff up on the mountain.  Crystal, Pallo, and Koira, along with Crystal’s mom, checked out the slopes recently, tried skijoring, and had a blast (January 7, 2012).  Rain or shine, these guys are up for adventure —from picking blackberries at the park (Sept. 6, 2011) to dodging sprinklers or playing “lost” in the wilderness to help search and rescue teams train (Sept. 5, 2011).

One of my favorite things about this blog is that it includes real life!  There’s so much cool stuff,  including yummy recipes (holiday baking is discussed Dec. 12, 2011), references to other helpful blogs (check out Menu Planning Mondays), cool videos, great training tips and ideas, contests, health topics, and great discussions (check out the one on BSL Oct. 21, 2011).  The pictures are plentiful, the videos and content expansive.  Head on over and check them out!
