New PDX dog park under construction

Portland Parks and Recreation recently held celebration for the beginning of construction on a new Portland-area park.  “The Fields,” located at NW 10th and Overton, will include strolling paths, picnic tables, a children’s area, and a dog park on a 3.2 acres nestled in the Hoyt Street Yards and Pearl District neighborhoods.  The park should be ready for play by winter 2013.
