Show seniors some love

Now in its 3rd year, Jake ‘n Max’s Boxes of Love is a drive collecting new and gently-used goods for senior pets.  Especially needed are beds, blankets, toys, and pet supplements, and potty pads. Created in honor of two beloved oldsters, the drive provides much needed items to My Way Home Dog Rescue for senior pups and Animal Aid, for older kitties. Look for the cute and cheery boxes at Meat for Cats and Dogs, Salty's Dog & Cat Shop, Fang & Feather, Stay Pet Hotel, Tails R' Waggin Doggy Daycare , M Realty (Portland & Lake Oswego offices) and other local businesses, as well as the City of Portland building, Jan. 14 through Feb 14.
