Ben

This super sweet 7-year-old Border Collie weighs about 58 lbs now but will do better lighter and is working on it.  One of the nicest dogs you’ll ever meet, Ben is relaxed at home, likes riding in the car, and going on walks. He has a slight limp from an injury, but that disappears during walks. He's great on his leash and sticks pretty close off leash unless tires are nearby — he chases and bites tires! Super smart, Ben knows many commands — even spin and roll. He’s never met a stranger, and loves PDA. He's good with other dogs, ignores cats and has lived with a toddler.

Sadly, after 5 years, Ben’s family had a child and deprioritized him. He deserves better, and will thrive with an active family who appreciates and returns all the loyalty and devotion this gentle dog has to give.  He is very loved at the rescue.
