“Star Paws” Dinner and Auction

Furry Friends is hosting its annual dinner and auction fundraiser at the The Heathman Lodge in Vancouver.  They will be celebrating their 20th year of operation.

While purely optional, attendees are encouraged to appear in costumes that reflect a Star Wars theme. The Cloud City Garrison will be attending in costume to help set the mood and be available for photo opportunities. This group is a chapter of The 501st Legion of Stormtroopers, a Star Wars Imperial costuming club. The 501st is dedicated to the movie-quality costumes of the "villains" of the Star Wars universe.

Anyone interested in donating a NEW item to the auction worth $30 or more is asked to please contact auction@furryfriendswa.org. Donations will be accepted until August 1st, 2019. Sponsorships are also available for as low as $500.

 All proceeds from the event will go towards Furry Friends ever increasing medical costs and operating budget.

 Founded in 1999, Furry Friends is a nonprofit, no-kill 501(c)(3) animal rescue serving Clark County. Run entirely by volunteers, their mission is to save abused, abandoned and relinquished cats by providing them with medical care and socialization, spay/neutering and shelter until they are placed in appropriate adoptive homes.

Adopt love during the PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend! Join us September 14-15 at local PetSmart stores. CAT volunteers and adoption counselors will be on-site from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. to help you find the purrfect kitty! Special adoption fees for all adult cats (age 1 yr+) available for adoption at the event: $50

Dogs Day Out

A fundraiser for Fences For Fido and local dog parks, this event coordinates with the annual Sandy/Boring Cyclocross event. This is a dog-friendly event with a special area of the corn maze set aside strictly for dogs and their humans to stroll and explore. Help us celebrate 15 years of 4 legged friendships! 
Join us August 31st from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Lagunitas Community Room for a fun evening celebrating this huge milestone- 15 years and over 15,000 lives saved!

Your $30 registration includes a light dinner catered by Laughing Planet, 3 beers provided by Lagunitas Brewing, photobooth with HP Studios and great company.
There will be awesome raffle prizes, as well as a cash bar (beer only) and a Puppy Cuddle Booth!
