Run for the Love of Dove . . . and animals in need

The popular Run for the Love of Dove 5K event benefiting the good work of DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital and proudly sponsored by Spot hits the streets Sunday, June 9 at 9am.

No training is necessary for this family- and furry-friendly event benefiting the DoveLewis’s Stray Animal & Wildlife Fund.  Online registration is $30; $35 includes a race t-shirt.  On-site registration is $45, space permitting.

Canine co-pilots are welcome on the course that weaves through the streets near the 24-hour emergency and ICU animal hospital at 1945 NW Pettygrove.  The event kicks off and wraps up with a street fair at the Wells Fargo parking lot across from Sniff Dog Hotel at NW 19th & Raleigh.  Post-race festivities include a silly pet tricks contest, a photo booth and friendly vendors.
